	Mission The Hosea ministry offers retreats, conferences, concerts, workshops and preaching in churches, schools, colleges, religious congregations, medical centers, nursing homes, prisons, and hospice programs throughout the United States and Canada. It is continually called upon to assist communities, institutions and individuals in their attempts to develop their ability to serve others by developing their spiritual capacities and commitments. We present a context in which persons can reflect, pray, discern and commit to living a spiritual way of life, while providing information, skills and encouragement that enable them to do so.
	Goals Develop and offer retreats, conferences, workshops and presentations in off-premise environments, including churches, schools, colleges, religious congregations, medical centers, prisons, hospices, etc. Provide a place where people in ministry and those who serve humanity can gather for retreat, renewal, prayer and sabbatical. Establish a fellowship whose purpose is continuing support for individuals desirous of embracing spiritual values and practices in their daily lives. This is taking shape now in our "Lumen Christi Community".
